A dream that become a reality
How often do the words "be careful what you wish e comes to mind?
We (Melissa & Petrus de Lange) were blessed, and fortunate that our travels brought us to Paternoster, small fishing village, full of a rich history and still going strong.
We decided to make Paternoster our home, and after 4 years we opened our doors for all potential guest.
We have 5 cats, Markus, Mollie, William, Peaunut and Heidi, and 3 turtles, our house is a one story house with a sea view on 3 sides, we ARE NOT a beach front house.
Our house is a very comfortable, relaxing and warm with an ekstra touch of love to make you stay super special and amazing.
We offer a sit down menu serving meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian dishes, please provide your dietary requirments beforehand.
About Paternoster:
Paternoster is one of the oldest fishing villages on the West Coast of South Africa. White wash houses that remind you of Greece in Athens Mediterranean Sea
We are situated 15 km north-west of Vredenburg, our biggest town with a mall, and 145 km north of Cape Town near Cape Columbine and between Saldana and St Helena Bay.
The town covers an area of 194.8 hectare and has approximately 1883 inhabitants Maybe a little more..☺️you will see a colorful display of boats laying on Mosselbank in the late afternoonswere you will spot small fishing boats in the sea.
This memory gives the feeling that life passed by, and left Paternoster untouched, were life stood stil for 20years from the rest of the world,
On Friday’s you will hear the Ice cream truck playing Ballade of Adeline over the speaker of his ice cream truck over selling ice
Sunday mornings you will here the calling of the local fisherman driving with his truck, calling for the locals to buy the catch of the day,.
our annual

We have remarkable people living here, stories to tell, our coastline with cliffs and white boulders makes us the most beautiful beache in the West Coast of South Africa.
The town itself has a lobster factory and a newly erected Kabeljou farm, whilst the local people catch and sell herring, and their catch to the local community and restaurants, lots of locals draw mussels from the rocks Or jive clams on the sand...💃🏼
Paternoster has a lot to offer starting from deepsea fishing, Kayaking, Spa Retreats, Yoga, Cycling, Hiking with a beautiful trail to Tietiesbaai and Cape Colombian 3km from Paternoster, a variety of restuarants and locals shops and coffee shops,
